My biggest life-changing breakthrough encompassed almost every one of these 7 ways. I was contemplating a move to a very small, rural town. In my research I stumbled onto the Small Biz Survival website and read stories about how artists and craftspeople were finding unique ways to make a living in very small towns. I realized that I could apply some of their ideas to help my own career in the small rural city I was already living in. Within weeks I had found an unexpected studio space in an antique store downtown where I could create, sell, and teach. I now have a life here that I (and everyone else here) never thought could be possible.
