I enrolled in your ArtBiz Course because you have marketing ideas I never learned with my BFA! After teaching for 24 years, I am retired (yea) to paint to my hearts content. Since I am starting out in business with a limited budget, what do you think about having a portfolio show in my home? I can send hand painted invitations to friends and my guests can bring more guests. Therefore I can develop my mailing list and sell art at the same time. Will this work?

Most offices ( like art centers, etc.) will not give you their list of home addresses. I have sold a lot of work over the years to my established base but now find that I need a new audience.
